The Ramona Senior Center is the hub of community activity for people over sixty in the area. Ramona is privileged to have an active independent program designed for seniors, by seniors. They are separately incorporated and hold a 501-C3 (nonprofit status). Their mission is “To contribute to the dignity, well-being and independence of the community’s seniors.” They provide meals for “home-bound” seniors in addition to the seniors that frequent the facility on a weekly basis. There are 35-75 seniors that attend lunch or activities on daily basis. They are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The center is closed on weekends and legal holidays.
