Providing sewing machines, sanitary supplies and sewing education with love to the girls of Kenya

A project born in love, compassion and the desire to protect women and girls in Kenya, through providing hygiene, education and pointing them to Jesus.

Pam Clark (retired North Coast Church staff member for 20 years) and Pastors Susan and Robert Owade have been mission work partners for 18 years throughout Africa. At the Owade’s church, Abundant Love Mission church, women are cared for by providing an extensive educational sewing class and the opportunity to earn their own sewing machine. Graduates from the POD sewing program receive an Alterations certificate helping them to become self-sufficient by creating their own at home business.

Through the sewing and distribution of washable sanitary pads, the Protecting Our Daughters (POD Project) has given girls the ability to attend school, stay safe, and gain spiritual knowledge while offering hope in their future.

Your donation will provide sewing machines and supplies to the POD Project sewing graduates who can now have a positive impact on their family and their community.

We appreciate your prayers and generosity to Protecting our Daughters, the POD Project.
