Respect Project

The RESPECT Project in San Marcos is in partnership with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and provides mentorship and personal development for atrisk youth through a 16-week program.  RESPECT stands for responsibility, ethics, service, perseverance, education, courage, and trustworthiness.  The deputies connect the youth and their families with resources in the community to help achieve their goals.  Some of the resources include food, mentorship, medical, tutoring and more. Once the students graduate from their Academy Program, theare able to enjoy the community center where the Deputies host family outings, dodgeball games, movie nights, game nights, and more.
