Shane and Laura have been married for 30 years and have four children. Kirra is 23 and recently married Jordan. Their twins, Summer and David, are 21. Curren, their youngest, is 18. Shane graduated from UC Irvine and Laura from UC Santa Barbara (Shane also graduated with a Masters degree, and graduated with a doctoral degree in ministry from Portland Seminary). As college students, they both were impacted as they went on summer mission trips where they learned to share their faith. After graduation it was clear God was calling them to be full-time missionaries. They have been working with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) for 31 years (Shane) and 28 years (Laura). They work with The Jesus Film Project, a division of Cru. JESUS is a film taken straight from the Gospel of Luke and has been translated in 2,070 languages, with more languages being translated each week.
