Reaching the Hungry provides support, resources, and relationships to missionaries – connecting them with churches who care about them and their efforts for God’s Kingdom. They recognize that 80% of missionaries burnout and don’t finish their term.
There are 3 ways that they aim to bring their mission to life and reach the spiritually hungry:
Equip: They begin by providing strategies and capital, helping missionaries become efficient and self-sustaining as they follow God’s calling to the mission field.
Empower: They then provide tactical tools and training, enabling missionaries to operate fruitful ministries that bring about life-changing transformation.
Encourage: They believe that encouragement is a lifelong opportunity – providing spiritual and emotional support to ensure that missionaries remain ready to serve others. Through purposeful prayer, they encourage them both in seasons of hardship and seasons of hope. One of the best ways to encourage a missionary is to bring someone like you to their mission field – so you can see them in action and pour into those that they pour into year round.
