Protecting Our Daughters Mission Project

Protecting Our Daughters (POD) is a project born out of love, compassion, and a desire to provide hygiene products, spiritual guidance, and empowerment opportunities to girls in Kenya.

Since its inception, POD has reached over 124,560 girls across the country and provided 100,702 washable, reusable pads and 51,460 pairs of underwear to 51,461 girls attending 201 schools in more than 30 counties, 76 girls’ centers within Nairobi, and 19 tribal groups.

Recognizing the importance of nurturing spiritual growth, the project has distributed 6,850 Bibles and prayed with 25,383 girls to receive Jesus as their Savior. In tribal outreach efforts, POD has also spoken to 1,060 women, distributed 13 bags of maize to 400 families in Samburu and West Pokot, and shared 30 Talking Bibles so communities can hear God’s Word in their own language.

Beyond providing essential resources, POD invests in long-term empowerment through its sewing and fashion programs. Since the program began, 45 students have graduated, with 32 now running small businesses or employed, and the current batch of 18 fashion and design students and 16 dressmaking students will graduate in February 2026. The program has also provided 16 sewing machines thanks to generous support from partners like Pam and North Coast Church.

We deeply thank God for the progress POD has made, and we are profoundly grateful to our partners, supporters, and prayer warriors. Together, we are helping girls in Kenya thrive—physically, spiritually, and economically.
