Downstown is non-profit organization with a series of residential homes in North County for adults with developmental disabilities, such as Down syndrome. Each household has 3-4 residents and a house manager.
Downstown was founded in 1984 and has since grown into a six-home community. The organization’s mission is to encourage public understanding of persons with developmental disabilities and maximize the residents’ potential for community involvement and independence. Game nights are a fun way to accomplish this.
Note: This project is geared towards groups of 4-10 people.
