Snack Packs for Kids – Help Feed a Hungry Child This Summer

This summer, we’re teaming up with the Boys & Girls Club to support over 200 hungry kids who are attending their summer programs daily. These kids are active, growing, and in need of healthy snacks to help them stay energized and focused throughout the day.

During the school year, the Club serves around 115–120 kids each day after school—but in the summer, that number jumps to 200–260+ kids daily. That means hundreds of snacks are needed every single week!

You can help—one snack pack at a time. No donation is too small. Every granola bar, fruit cup, or juice box makes a real difference.

Here’s how to help:

  1. Choose 3–4 snack items from the list below.

  2. Pack them in a quart- or gallon-size zip lock bag.

  3. Optional: Add an encouraging note or decorate the bag to brighten a child’s day.

Kid-friendly snack ideas:

  • Fresh fruit (bananas, grapes, apples)

  • Granola or cereal bars

  • Goldfish crackers, pretzels, or cracker packs

  • Applesauce or fruit cups (include spoons if needed)

  • Juice boxes or shelf-stable milk

  • Fruit snacks, trail mix, popcorn bags, Rice Krispies Treats

  • Veggie straws or Pirate’s Booty

Let’s come together and show these kids they’re seen, valued, and supported. Whether you make one snack pack or ten, your generosity goes a long way.
